A second Paul Nugent joins Santé Group

Not content with having only one Paul Nugent, the Santé Group, has announced the appointment of a second Paul Nugent as a brand ambassador.

He joins the team that is already headed by their first Paul Nugent, who is the founder and CEO.

In an attempt to avoid confusion, CEO Paul Nugent (pictured right) is now being referred to as PN1 in the office, and the new Paul Nugent (pictured left) as PN2.

Ambassador Paul Nugent brings more than 30 years of experience in the life insurance and employee benefits industry, having held positions such as regional director with United Assurance Group, national B2B manager at AIG Europe, and broker development manager at BHSF.

He will focus on promoting Santé Group’s brand across the intermediary sector, particularly highlighting the breadth of their wholesale offering.

Santé says the two Pauls are absolutely not related, but they have known each other for years through PN2’s work as an intermediary sales manager. To date there has been no mix up over the names.

A Santé spokesperson said: “Other than their names they both obviously have a shared love and drive for delivering employee benefits solutions and hopefully Paul squared will have a long and fruitful working relationship from here on out.”

Brian Hall, group chairman, said: “Paul has consistently demonstrated high performance throughout his career.

“His extensive experience positions him perfectly to connect with other intermediaries and showcase our product range, software offerings, and compliance services.”

CEO Paul Nugent (PN1), said, “The business is experiencing significant growth, and we’re thrilled to welcome Paul to the team. Beyond sharing a winning name, I’m particularly impressed by the breadth and depth of his experience.

“His customer first approach is a perfect match for the culture we have built here.”

Ambassador Paul Nugent (PN2) said: ‘I am delighted to be joining a dynamic, progressive, and professional organisation, with total focus on providing excellence of service, competitive health and wellbeing products to all employees, clients and key intermediaries and partners across the UK and beyond’.
