Advo staff take on Premier Choice roles as acquisition goes into full effect

Staff from Advo are today officially taking on Premier Choice Healthcare roles, as the July acquisition deal goes into full effect.

Several former Advo employees have announced their new roles on LinkedIn.

That includes Simon Friday, now employee benefits manager at Premier Choice and previously private clients manager at Advo.

Friday told Health & Protection: “The move from Advo Group to Premier Choice Group (part of Brown & Brown) allows us to continue to build on the superb service we currently offer our clients.

“Using our combined power and resources we are confident we will meet our growth plans over the next few years.

“I’m extremely excited about the move and all the opportunities that lie ahead for all teammates now this acquisition is complete”

On LinkedIn Friday said: “I’m delighted to share that I’m starting a new position as employee benefits manager (South) at Premier Choice Healthcare Ltd, part of Brown & Brown Europe.

“Exciting times lie ahead for all teammates old and new.

“Can’t wait to get going officially.”

“Looking forward to reconnecting with my network over the next few weeks/months.”

In July Health & Protection reported that Premier Choice had purchased employee benefits intermediary Advo Group Ltd to expand its presence in the South East.

Lucy Irvine, who was appointed project director at Premier Choice following the acquisition having previously been head of employee benefits at Advo, said via LinkedIn: “As of today, Advo are officially Premier Choice Healthcare Ltd teammates.

“I’m looking forward to working closely with Darren Perkins, Stephen Hough and the wider team in my new role as project director.”

Ellie Sultana, previously employee benefits manager at Advo and now head of employee benefits (East) also commented on LinkedIn.

She said: “Today is the day! Advo team mates officially join Premier Choice Healthcare Ltd.

“Exciting times ahead in my role as head of employee benefits (East). Really looking forward to working closely with the wider teams and people within the business.

“Huge congratulations to Lucy Irvine on her new role who for many years has been a brilliant manager and mentor to me and many others within the business.”

And Judy Allen, employee benefits consultant at Premier Choice, said via LinkedIn: “Happy new beginnings day for me and my team mates!

“I am happy to announce that the acquisition of Advo Employee Benefits by Premier Choice Group is now complete!

“This marks a significant milestone for both teams as we combine our strengths to deliver enhanced employee benefits solutions for businesses of all sizes.

“Together, we will continue to prioritise innovation and customer service, ensuring our clients receive the best support possible.

“I’m looking forward to the incredible opportunities ahead as we move forward as one united team.

“Here’s to new beginnings and continued success.”

In August, former Advo Group owner Colin Boxall told Health & Protection about why intense market competition meant it was the right time to sell up and how his departure from health and protection advice did not mean he would be a stranger to the sector.
