Aon has announced a collaboration in the UK with Peppy Health which will see the firms help employers manage women’s health in the workplace.
Peppy will provide its support service – notably for fertility, pregnancy and early parenthood, menopause and other issues – as part of Aon’s women’s health proposition.
Through the Peppy app, employees can have a chat, a video consultation, join a live event or watch a video from one of their specialist health practitioners.
Aon will continue to support employers with initial gap analysis, strategy and policy development, communication and engagement as well as benefit design, where appropriate.
Aon will begin offering Peppy’s support service to its clients immediately.
Rachel Western, principal for health and risk at Aon, said: “Women’s health in the workplace has grown in prominence in the last year – and not before time.
“The issue is such that employers now view menopause training and policies as their biggest health strategy aim for next year.
“Aon’s UK Benefits and Trends Survey 2022 showed that 38% of employers are planning to implement menopause training and 40% are focusing on a menopause policy.
“By collaborating with Peppy, we are able to help more women during their working lives, which in turn, helps employers build a more resilient workforce while improving business performance and results.”
Dr Mridula Pore, CEO and co-founder of Peppy, added: “We know that companies are increasingly looking to build a gender-diverse, multi-generational workforce.
“ey to achieving this is supporting employees and their families as they go through major life transitions. This in turn helps attract, retain and engage diverse talent at all stages and levels of the organisation.”
