Benenden Health has added a range of blood tests to its preventative health offering that can be used in the comfort of a member’s home.
The tests allow people to monitor their health without visiting a clinic and to make earlier evidence-based decisions about their wellbeing.
This addition to its offering is part of Benenden’s commitment to help members take preventative action on their health.
The service offers three general wellness testing levels, covering up to 32 health markers.
The insights provided include areas such as hormone balance, metabolic health, cholesterol analysis and assessing potential risks to the liver and kidney.
The tests will be provided at a discount to Benenden’s members by medical technology specialist Forth.
Actionable information
People want simple, practical ways to understand their health and to act earlier, said David Winter, Benenden Health’s head of innovation.
He added that working with Forth is another example of “how Benenden Health is using innovation to make preventative healthcare more accessible, affordable and relevant to everyday life – helping members stay well, not just supporting them to get well”.
Sarah Bolt, chief executive at Forth, said that understanding your health shouldn’t be complicated or inconvenient.
“Our tests are designed to give people clear, actionable information about their health, helping them make positive lifestyle choices and seek support when needed,” she added.
