Independent pensions, employee benefits, investments and insurance consultancy Broadstone, is opening a new office in Birmingham city centre, deepening its presence in the Midlands.
The company said the new office, which opens this week, comes in response to increasing demand for Broadstone’s services and will be staffed by a team of dedicated actuarial and investment experts.
With 10,000 people moving from London to Birmingham each year the new site places Broadstone at the centre of growing demand for quality careers.
The Birmingham branch will be Broadstone’s second office in the Midlands, joining the largest UK regional business, finance and professional services cluster with 45,000 companies and a workforce of 330,000 professionals.
The team will maintain close ties to Broadstone’s Redditch office where clients will continue to receive advisory support.
The new office is located in the Mailbox building (pictured) in the city centre.
The new office extends Broadstone’s UK footprint to nine sites as it continues to expand rapidly..
Rachel Titchen, charities and investment director at Broadstone, said: “Our new Birmingham city centre office will bring exciting opportunities as Broadstone continues to see strong growth across the Midlands region.
“We want to hire the brightest and best talent and Birmingham’s thriving financial services sector makes it the right place to do that.
“A city centre location will boost our appeal to the 30k students who graduate from Birmingham’s universities each year, with access to some of the best business schools in the world.
“We’ve listened to our clients and employees who find sustainable travel to Birmingham easier and are already excited by the opportunities for networking and collaboration afforded by being closer to the action.
“We are delighted to be not only creating easier travel opportunities, but to be placed in such a fantastic new space in the heart of the city I’m so proud to call my home.”
Jeremy Clack, head of Midlands Advisory at Broadstone, added: “The Birmingham office is an excellent addition to our existing operations in the Midlands.
“It marks our ninth office across the UK, reflecting our impressive growth over the past few years as we deepen our capabilities and diversify our offering across general insurance and credit risk, for example.
“This city centre location will give us a more accessible and visible presence for consulting with clients and prospects, while providing a dynamic environment near major transport hubs for our team.”
