Bupa has appointed Rob Bain as director of distribution, business and specialist products for Bupa UK Insurance.
Bain (pictured) takes on the role following Ian McMillan’s retirement on 1 January.
He is now responsible for leading growth through Bupa’s relationships with intermediaries across corporate, SME and specialist products, which includes dental insurance, cash plan and Well+ health subscriptions.
Having worked at Bupa for 25 years, he has broad experience leading teams across corporate and intermediary segments.
Most recently, he has been accountable for growing intermediary partnerships to support Bupa’s Better for Business strategy.
Bain will be joining the business and specialist products leadership team within Bupa UK Insurance, reporting to Richard Norris.
