Vietnamese financial technology group MoMo and Chubb Life Insurance Vietnam Co have launched Critical Illness Insurance+, a digital critical illness insurance solution now available through the MoMo App.
Critical Illness Insurance+ is designed to give Vietnamese customers access to health protection and greater flexibility in managing personal finance.
With two simple health questions and no medical examination required, customers can complete their insurance application in under two minutes.
Providing reimbursement for actual medical expenses of up to VND 5 billion per year, Critical Illness Insurance+ covers 37 common critical illnesses, including cancer, stroke, heart disease, and kidney failure.
It also allows an unlimited number of claims during the three-year term, offering customers robust financial protection against unexpected health events.
With the aim of providing affordable premiums and flexible payment options (monthly or annually), it is targeted at a broad range of customers, especially young professionals, gig economy workers, and first-time insurance buyers who want to safeguard their life plans, career goals, and family responsibilities.
Nguyen Manh Tuong, co-founder, co-chairman, and CEO of MoMo, said: “At MoMo, we believe technology only truly matters when it helps solve the real, everyday needs of people.
“When it comes to insurance, that means simplifying the process and making the experience clear and accessible on the devices people already use every day.
“We’re glad to partner with Chubb Life Vietnam to launch Critical Illness Insurance+, a meaningful next step in our journey to build a truly inclusive financial ecosystem from payments, savings, and credit to now, insurance, enabling every Vietnamese to take charge of their finances and better protect their future.”
