Hospital group Circle Health has increased the pricing for its MyWay employer health subscription plan, while also offering companies discounts of between 7.5% and 30% based on their number of employees.
The MyWay health plan was launched last year, starting at a rate of £19.99 per person per month, which increased by age group up to £34.50.
Pricing for the new version, branded MyWay for Business, starts at £22.50 per month for 18-24-year-olds – representing an increase of 12.5%.
Discounts range from 7.5% for companies with groups of more than 20 employees, up to 30% for companies with more than 300 employees.
The firm said the discounted rates were the next development for the product and that it will evolve further in the coming months.
Aside from the pricing alterations, the MyWay health subscription plan remains largely unchanged, and includes remote GP, diagnostics and other tests, Circle Health confirmed to Health & Protection.
In January Health & Protection reported that Dubai-based PureHealth had completed the acquisition of Circle Health Group.
Paul Manning, chief medical officer at Circle Health Group, (pictured), said: “As the cost of living continues and businesses are coming under increasing pressure to find cost effective ways to support their employees, our radical solution gives both employer and employee alike the chance to access almost all the benefits of private medical insurance, but at much more affordable and crucially scalable costs.”
He added: “Critical national industries and workers such as teaching and construction have rarely been able to access private healthcare in the past and are suffering some of the worst effects of the long-term sickness crisis.”
