Cirencester Friendly launches YourHalo for IP members

Cirencester Friendly has partnered with healthcare rm to launch YourHalo for its income protection members.

YourHalo (‘Your Health and Lifestyle Options’), delivered by health and wellbeing specialist, healthcare rm, will provide Cirencester Friendly members access to healthcare rm’s team of health professionals for advice and support across a range of health and wellbeing issues, including musculoskeletal, nutrition, sleep and physical activity & exercise.

YourHalo is available to all new and existing members at no additional cost and appointments can be booked either online, or by calling a dedicated local-rate phone line. Appointments typically last around 30 minutes and are delivered remotely by video or phone depending on the member’s preference.

When appropriate, healthcare rm’s  practitioners, including physiotherapists, sports therapists, nutritionists, fitness specialists and sleep experts, will complete a ‘biopsychosocial’ assessment to obtain a holistic picture of the variables that may be influencing a person’s health, considering biological, psychological and social factors.

The YourHalo service is available for use by Cirencester Friendly members at any time during the lifetime of their membership.

Commenting on the launch, Paul Nattrass, commercial director at healthcare rm, said: “We are absolutely delighted to partner with Cirencester Friendly to provide access to YourHalo for members…

“Our practitioners understand that maintaining good all-round health is multi-faceted and YourHalo provides a one-stop shop for members to obtain expert advice and support to help them address any symptoms, and to help people adopt and maintain healthy habits”.

David Macgregor, commercial director at Cirencester Friendly, added: “This exciting partnership with healthcare rm is another example of our commitment to provide class leading products, backed with additional benefits that can be accessed at any time, and not just at claim.

“Helping our members to achieve and maintain a healthy lifestyle is very important, and especially so as we all continue to endure the effects of the pandemic”.
