Healix has today announced three senior hires as the business continues to expand its team and product offering, including David Battle, Steven Whitehouse and Richard Jones.
David Battle joins Healix as non-executive director, following a career that has ranged from start-ups to multi-nationals.
Battle (pictured) previously lead Lorica through an aggressive growth phase through to a successful trade sale to Aon and then became CEO of Aon Employee Benefits for nine years before retiring from Aon at the end of 2023.
In 2023, David was recognised by Health & Protection for his outstanding contribution to the industry.
Whitehouse is taking up the newly created position of group chief technology officer.
His career includes working across start-ups, SMEs, and multi-national corporations, including IBM and Ford. His experience has seen him plan and implement large-scale technology solutions and infrastructures, including contactless payments for the London Oyster Card Network for Cubic Transportation Systems.
Jones joins Healix as data and pricing director, leaving his most recent role as head of pricing at Barclays.
He will focus on working with the senior team to shape and implement the pricing strategy moving forward, enabling Healix to continue on its growth path.
His previous experience includes senior pricing positions with Axa and Direct Line Group, before moving to Barclays in 2013.

“Unlocking value from data to ameliorate customer outcomes is both viable and exciting at Healix and presents one of many opportunities to disrupt the market in a positive way.”
