DocHQ appoints Arora chief commercial officer from GBG

Employee benefits and wellbeing provider DocHQ has appointed Amit Arora as chief commercial officer.

Arora will lead DocHQ’s commercial strategy, including sales, marketing and partnerships, and will be responsible for driving growth and revenue, and expanding the company’s reach.

He joins from Global Benefits Group (GBG) where he was sales director and head of international private medical insurance (IPMI) and is also a former director of global direct sales at Bupa Global.

Arora has more than 23 years’ experience in building and scaling businesses for financial services corporations, including Bupa, Citibank, GE, and GBG.

He also has a track record of managing portfolios in excess of $350m across a range of insurance, banking, and credit products in both domestic and international markets, the firm said.
