Doctify has integrated with the Private Healthcare Information Network (PHIN) to collect and share hospital patient feedback.
It will support hospitals’ compliance with the Competition and Markets Authority’s (CMA) Private Healthcare Market Investigation Order.
The agreement facilitates the collection and submission of hospital patient satisfaction data through the Doctify patient feedback platform and direct submission to PHIN – at no additional cost – using the system providers already use daily.
PHIN said the integration is expected to have positive impacts across the sector by consolidating patient feedback collection into a single system which many providers are already using,
It added the partnership will aim to drive higher patient response rates as patients receive one survey instead of multiple requests, increase overall compliance rates, and generate larger volumes of high-quality data for PHIN, while reducing costs and administrative burden for providers.
Earlier this summer PHIN launched benchmarking services to help users assess hospitals and consultants, with services intended to allow patients to reflect on performance compared to peers and provide greater transparency.
And just this month PHIN confirmed it had achieved compliance with the transparency provisions of the CMA’s order from 2014.

On it’s latest move, Ian Gargan, CEO of PHIN, (pictured) said: “We already collect large volumes of high-quality data from the UK’s more than 650 hospitals offering private services.
