Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) is to add to a new heart and lung hospital as part of its phase two expansion.
The Prime Heart and Lung Hospital, a new nine-storey complex spanning 33,000 square metres, will feature 150 beds and provide advanced non-invasive, diagnostic, and interventional procedures, as well as specialised rehabilitation.
The hospital is set to include three centres of excellence for heart, lung, and oncology.
The Lung Care Centre of Excellence will handle all facets of diagnosis, management, and treatment of respiratory conditions, while the Heart Care Centre of Excellence will provide a variety of invasive and non-invasive diagnostic and treatment procedures for cardiac conditions.
DHCC further revealed the oncology centre, the Marie Curie Cancer Institute (MCCI), will have access to a 360-degree comprehensive cancer care system and said all treatment plans will be tailored to suit the specific needs of patients.
