Everywhen has joined global employee benefits network Asinta but has re-affirmed its commitment to the Worldwide Benefits Network (WBN).
The intermediary is now Asinta’s exclusive UK partner and Everywhen chief executive of health and benefits Iain Laws (pictured) has become one of three board members.
Everywhen is now part of a network that represents more than 170,000 clients and 16.3 million lives across more than 140 countries.
However the firm told Health & Protection that the new agreement does not mean it is planning to exit WBN.
“We remain an active and committed member of the Worldwide Broker Network,” Everywhen said.
“Our involvement in WBN continues to be highly valuable, and we maintain strong and strategically important broker partnerships across the entire Everywhen business.”
The firm said joining Asinta supported its existing international expertise by providing more options for clients with operations overseas through specialist partners and employee benefits advisers.
Laws said the partnership would strengthen the firm’s global reach for UK businesses trading overseas.
“Asinta executive director James Kinney added: “Everywhen’s role as the UK’s leading independent employee benefits consultancy makes it an important partner for us and we were excited to gain the participation of its experts.
“We look forward to welcoming Iain Laws to the board.”
