Habito has hired Britney Trussler as protection expert, joining from Dynamo where she was protection manager .
The advice firm revealed Trussler was just one of several additions planned as the firm scales its offering across protection, mortgage advice, and compliance, it said.
It has also appointed Karen Vandepeear in its compliance team. Vandepeear brings over a decade of experience from Mortgage Advice Bureau and First Mortgage.
Trussler (pictured left) will report into protection advice manager Rhys Walker.
Trussler previously worked under Habito CEO Ying Tan (pictured right), who said he knows first-hand the impact she can make.
“We’re still in the embryonic stage of building our protection team,” Tan said.
“But the ambition is clear: to create a team of the very best protection advisers in the industry and Britney is exactly that. She’s smart, driven, and genuinely cares about helping customers feel confident and covered.
