HCA Healthcare UK has appointed Luke Smith as business development director in its corporate sales team.
In his new role, he will support the organisation’s plans for growth and help to build deeper relationships with intermediary partners, HCA Healthcare UK said.
Smith (pictured) was previously at Nuffield Health, where he worked for some 17 years, primarily in the areas of corporate health and wellbeing. His most recent role there was strategic business development director, from September 2021 to earlier this month.
Other roles included key client director and head of intermediary and corporate relationships. He started his career at Nuffield in 2006 as an account manager.
On joining HCA Healthcare UK, Smith said: “The opportunity to work at an organisation that has such a breadth of best-in-class services, the top talent in the industry and an ambitious growth plan is one that I relish.
“I welcome the opportunity to continue to work with the intermediary market to offer their clients access to the most clinically led health screening in the market, as well as other exceptional primary care services such as private GP, mental health, menopause, fertility and maternity,” he said.
Soraya Chamberlain, vice president of corporate sales at HCA Healthcare UK, added: “We are delighted to welcome Luke to our corporate sales team at HCA Healthcare UK.
“He brings a wealth of experience, knowledge and a proven track record in corporate health and wellbeing, which will be hugely beneficial in supporting our overall growth plans.
“It is an incredibly exciting time to be working in this space when demand for quality services has never been greater,” she said.
