HCML has appointed experienced employee health and wellbeing strategist David House as a non-executive director.
House (pictured) joins the HCML board and becomes a member of the remuneration committee and chairman of HCML’s healthcare trust subsidiary.
Charged with helping steer HCML through its next stage of business growth, House brings more than 25 years’ experience working in senior HR roles to HCML.
He has been instrumental in the development of health and wellbeing strategies across FTSE100 companies including TUI Travel and InterContinental Hotels Group. In addition, he has served on the board for various health trusts as a director and chairman.
His most recent role was at Centrica where he spent 12 years with the group in senior positions including deputy group HR director and chairman of Centrica’s Healthcare Trust.
He was also chief operating officer at British Gas and non-executive director and chairman of the remuneration committee of Spirit Energy, a joint venture between Centrica and Stadtwerke München.
Nick Delaney, group CEO of HCML, said: “David brings extensive knowledge of health and wellbeing from a corporate perspective as well as his significant human resources and technology experience.
“This insight adds significant value to the board and will support the enhancement of HCML’s products and services as we further our position as the UK leaders in the provision of occupational health and workplace wellbeing initiatives.
“David’s experience will be vital as we continue to build our leadership capability and drive further growth.”
