HCML has appointed Marc Holl as chief quality officer (CQO) – the second senior appointment from Nuffield Health in a little over a month and third in a year following CEO James Murray’s move last year.
In this newly created role, Holl (pictured) will be responsible for HCML’s patient pathway offerings, proposition development, data and outcomes and quality and safety framework.
He will also focus on continuing to build the provider’s networks.
Holl joins from Nuffield Health where he was head of quality, responsible for overseeing the quality assurance, governance, workforce development, regulatory and professional leadership of all clinical services.
Before this he spent 10 years at IPRS Health where he was managing director.
His hire follows the appointment of James Murray as chief executive officer at the end of last year brought in to lead the provider into its next phase of growth.
Holl, alongside Jill Pritchard who joined last month as chief commercial officer also from Nuffield Health, will sit on the firm’s executive board, joining existing members, recently promoted chief operations officer Vish Buldawoo and chief financial officer Rory Webster.
Murray said: “Marc brings extensive expertise in clinical pathway design, quality frameworks, and strategic service development which will be invaluable as we continue to enhance the value, quality, and reach of our corporate health, wellbeing, and rehabilitation services propositions.
“Jill, Marc, Rory and Vish all bring something unique to the senior leadership team. As our newly appointed board, they have the expertise, along with the passion and vision to accelerate growth, strengthen our foundations, and push the business forward.
“Together, we are focused on delivering high-quality, innovative, services that meet the evolving needs of our clients, and enable us to build a sustainable future for the business and I’m excited about what we will be able to deliver.”
Holl added he was excited to join HCML.
“I look forward to working with James and the rest of the team to help bring more innovation, even greater value to our clients and shaping the future of healthcare together,” he said.
