Healix has partnered with healthcare technology company Syrona in a bid to support businesses to provide personalised health solutions that cater to the diverse needs of a multigenerational workforce across various life stages.
Employees of Healix’s member companies will be able to access the Syrona health platform through their Healix member portal, allowing them to use health tracking tools, receiving bespoke care plans based on their symptoms and lifestyle data.
Users are also able to access a personal health coach, diagnostics and one-to-one virtual consultations with qualified, specialist clinicians.
Syrona’s symptom tracker predicts when a person may have a red flag symptom, meaning conditions can be treated early and prevented from worsening.
The range of health conditions that can be treated includes but is not limited to endometriosis, menopause, non-binary and trans care, fertility issues and low testosterone and prostrate conditions.
Employees will also be able to access at home testing kits to help speed up the diagnostic process, enabling them to receive treatment quicker than is available via the NHS.
Ian Talbot, CEO of Healix Health, (pictured) said: “Our partnership with Syrona comes at an important time for workers across the UK, as access to healthcare for a range of conditions is becoming increasingly challenging.
“If businesses want to grow, a key way to do so is through retaining their workforce.
“We know from our evidence that bespoke support can lead to faster recovery times, and a decreased likelihood of employees being out of work.
“It’s through partnerships such as this that we are working to simplify healthcare for companies, enabling them to grow sustainably through a healthier, happier workforce.”
Anya Roy, co-founder of Syrona, said: “Both Healix and Syrona are organisations that are very clinically led and use this expertise to deliver care that is responsive and patient centric.
“My own struggles with gynaecological health inspired Syrona’s mission, highlighting the crucial need for swift access to high-quality, culturally sensitive healthcare.
“As the NHS faces mounting pressures, I’m looking forward to supporting employers across the UK to provide their staff access to personalised, high-quality care that enhances health outcomes and productivity.”
Chantelle Bell, co-founder of Syrona, added: “Our partnership extends beyond access to high-quality clinical expertise across often-overlooked areas of healthcare; we empower individuals through vital education as well.
“Too often, people struggle to recognise the initial signs and symptoms of conditions such as endometriosis or low testosterone, leading to delayed diagnosis and treatment.
“Employers are uniquely positioned to play a crucial role in guiding their workforce towards appropriate support pathways.”
