Healix reports 20% growth and appoints former National Friendly marketing exec

Healix Health Services has reported growth of over 20% in 2022 and appointed Cat Ransome as head of marketing.

Ransome join Saara Day at Healix who was appointed group marketing director in 2022.

The move marks a return to the world of health and protection for Ransome who left National Friendly seven years ago to join a flooring firm as their head of business development.

She first joined National Friendly as new business administrator, working her way up to claims and premiums administrator before being appointed as marketing executive – the final role she held at the mutual before leaving the sector.

Healix said the increased investment in its marketing department reflected its commitment to building out its brand in 2023, in line with the growth of its services in 2022.

The last year saw the organisation launch its digital healthcare solution Healix ConneX, secure new partnerships, including with HCB Group, Incorpore, Perci Health, EQL and Mind Right, and acquire and open a new office in Bristol, with the office projected to create more than 50 jobs in Bristol over the next 15 months.

Ian Talbot, CEO at Healix Health Services, (pictured) said: “The unprecedented, rapid growth we are experiencing highlights the increasing importance of healthcare trusts amid the current NHS crisis and attests to the value of Healix’s approach as a cost-effective alternative to private medical insurance.

“As we continue to expand our services and regional presence in 2023, our number one priority is to provide our clients with access to the best possible services.

“All of our new team members bring with them a wealth of knowledge and diverse market experience. We’re looking forward to working together with them this year to build our services and brand across the UK.”
