Howden appoints ex-Generali Welion CEO as head of employee benefits in Italy

Howden has appointed Cesare Lai as head of employee benefits and wellbeing in Italy.

Lai has worked for more than 20 years in the sector including roles at AIG, Mercer, Willis Towers Watson and was most recently chief executive officer of Generali Welion.

Lai said: “I am honoured to have the opportunity to join the Howden team at such a pivotal time for the employee benefits and wellbeing sector.

“I look forward to working with clients in Italy and delivering the best solutions to help them adapt to these changing needs.”
