IPipeline appoints chief technology officer

IPipeline has appointed Steve Cover as chief technology officer.

The firm said he will be charged with establishing the future technical vision and roadmap for the organisation’s next phase of growth.

He brings more than 30 years of knowledge and experience of leading high-performing technology teams, and developing technological solutions that both deliver on and advance business strategy, it added.

Over his career Cover has delivered technological visions, transforming software development processes with agile and efficient methodologies, and modernising product architectures and platforms to meet industry needs in new ways.

“He has led the delivery of technology roadmaps to meet customer needs and achieve business goals for technology companies such as UKG, Horizon Software International, UnitedHealth Group, Microsoft, and most recently, CentralSquare Technologies, where he defined and executed the company’s technology strategy and oversaw the development of global software.

Pat O’Donnell, CEO of IPipeline, said: “We are delighted to add Steve to our growing roster of technology-forward leaders who understand the impact we are committed to in North America’s life insurance and financial services industries and the UK’s life insurance and pensions industries.

“Winning talent like Steve Cover – as well as our recent new hires chief product officer Katie Kahl and chief financial officer Adam Boone – sets us up to accelerate our success by providing the highest-grade solutions to our clients.”

Cover (pictured) added he was thrilled to be joining the leadership team.

“I have seen first hand what is required to help companies overcome the challenges associated with driving technological innovation in complex spaces, and IPipeline is uniquely committed to – and capable of – modernising the life insurance, annuities, and wealth management spaces in this way,“ he added.
