The Income Protection Task Force (IPTF) has launched its 7Families Revisited series.
Originally launched in 2014, the 7Families project aimed to highlight the importance of income protection insurance by sharing the journeys of seven UK families affected by serious illness or injury.
The project sought to raise awareness, demonstrate the value of protection insurance and offer support to those facing financial challenges due to loss of income. By providing real-life case studies, 7Families brought to life the human stories behind statistics and was a reminder for advisers and insurers of the impact of their work.
This new series sees the IPTF revisit three families from the original project: Nikki Thornley, Graeme Snell and Tracey Clarke. Each family shares their reflections and experiences a decade on. As with the original campaign, their stories emphasise the ongoing human side of insurance, showcasing resilience, hope and the importance of financial and emotional support during challenging times.
The series launches with a hero film and will be followed by short films focusing on each of the revisited families.
All content will be available on the IPTF website and YouTube channel, making it accessible for industry professionals including advisers and insurers.
