The Income Protection Task Force (IPTF) has released the first story and video in its recently announced 7Claims initiative.
Guiding a Client Through a Storm is designed to showcase the vital role advisers play in supporting clients during a claim.
This video highlights a real-life scenario where an adviser provided guidance, support and reassurance to their client during a difficult time in their life when they had to claim on their income protection policy.
Project lead, Phil Deacon, (pictured) said: “Advisers are instrumental in ensuring clients fully understand their policies and feel supported during challenging times.
“This video aims to illustrate just how crucial their role is in delivering positive outcomes for claimants.”
The first story in this series features adviser Zuzanna Ritter from Smart Choice Financial Services who helped her client through the claims process with Cirencester Friendly and helped to overcome her client’s language barrier and achieve a successful and straightforward claim for all involved.
The video documenting this story features both Ritter and also Rob Higgins from Cirencester Friendly.
Guiding a Client Through a Storm is now available to watch on the IPTF website www.iptf.co.uk (from 9am on 10th March), You Tube channel (private link now live) and social media channels.
The IPTF added it invites the industry to participate in the discussions, share insights, and adopt the best practices developed through 7 Claims Stories and will be sharing insights and content on the organisation’s social channels and website.
