Maxis Global Benefits Network has promoted Nicola Fordham to chief solutions officer from chief underwriting officer.
In her new role Fordham (pictured) will oversee the evolution and development of Maxis GBN’s offering – including insurance solutions and global programmes – to ensure they continue to address new challenges in the market and fit the needs of its multinational clients.
She joined Maxis GBN in 2017 as director of underwriting ahead of promotion to chief underwriting officer in 2021. In that role she led a team of pricing underwriters who work closely with its network of local insurers, EU Underwriting Hub and multinational clients.
Consequently, Maxis is hiring a new chief underwriting officer.
Fordham said: “I’m excited to be taking on this new role and helping to future-proof the business and ensure continued success for Maxis, our network and our multinational clients.
“We want to be ready to take on any challenges the market presents now and in the coming years and, in this new role, I will be able to ensure that we’re well-positioned to do so.”
Mattieu Rouot, CEO at Maxis GBN, added: “I’m delighted to be announcing this new position and have every belief that Nicola will continue to excel as she takes on this new challenge.
“She has been instrumental in growing and developing our Underwriting team and its capabilities and I have no doubt she is the right person to develop and grow this new team.
“Being future-ready is key for all businesses and Maxis is no different.
“With the creation of this new function, I’m confident that we’ll be able to continue servicing our multinational clients to a high standard and helping them find the right solution for their business and their people.”
