Mercer Marsh publishes employee mental health training programme

Mercer Marsh Benefits (MMB) has collaborated with Make A Difference (MAD) to create a digital employee mental health training programme with the input of sporting greats including Arsenal legend Kelly Smith and former world heavyweight champion Frank Bruno.

The course aims to make it easier for employees worldwide irrespective of industry to take care of their own and their colleagues’ mental wellbeing and health by highlighting the key symptoms of common conditions and how to spot early warning signs.

It contains practical tips, reflective questions and calls to action, to help employees build personal resilience and learn how to bounce back from challenges and setbacks.

It has been created with the input of familiar celebrities, athletes and supermodels such as Frank Bruno, Terry Waite, Eunice Olumide, Kelly Smith and others and consists of a series of four digital modules highlighting key aspects of mental wellbeing focusing on resilience, empathy, self-care and workplace engagement.

The modules draw on neuroscience and positive psychology and are delivered in 10-12 minute bite-sized sessions, with the aim of helping employees better understand and manage their own and others’ mental health vulnerabilities, and as a result, create a more open, supportive environment in the workplace.
