MetLife UK has promoted Justin Harper to head of propositions for the UK – taking responsibility for both individual and group protection.
Harper joined MetLife back in September as individual protection product manager.
He will now be responsible for overseeing the firm’s employee benefits and individual protection product portfolios and will lead proposition direction and development.
Harper spent more than 16 years at LV= before leaving last year as part of a restructure of the mutual’s protection team.
For his last 18 months at the mutual he had been protection proposition and marketing director.
Dominic Grinstead, managing director of MetLife UK, said: “Justin joins us at an exciting point with our market-leading proposition for employee benefits given the addition of Funeral Concierge last year.
“We are also looking forward to a pipeline of transformational enhancements. Justin will be an asset to the team as we further bolster our proposition this year.”
Harper (pictured) added he was excited to get started in his new role.
