Nine in 10 adults have Covid antibodies in every part of the UK except Scotland, according to official data.
Figures released by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) revealed 91.9% of the adult population in England, up from 89.8% in June, would have tested positive for Covid antibodies in a blood test in the week commencing 28 June 2021.
In Wales, it is estimated 92.6% have Covid antibodies, up from 91.8% in June, followed by Northern Ireland 90.0%, up from 87.2% in June and Scotland – 88.6%, up from 84.7% in June.
In the youngest age group – 16-24 year olds, 71.2% of have Covid antibodies in Wales, followed by 68.9% in Northern Ireland, 67% in England and just 57.3% in Scotland.
