Nuffield buys Aspen head office as part of five hospital deal

Aspen Healthcare has revealed its corporate office will become part of Nuffield Health following the healthcare charity’s acquisition of five of the provider’s sites.

Yesterday, Nuffield announced it had reached agreement to acquire The Edinburgh Clinic (pictured), Parkside Private Hospital, Highgate Private Hospital, Cancer Centre London and The Holly Private Hospital.

This followed on from last week’s sale of Claremont Private Hospital in Sheffield to Spire Healthcare.

In a statement released today, Aspen added that its corporate office also formed part of the five hospital acquisition.

The statement said it remains “business as usual” at the five sites with no disruption to services and added  appointments will go ahead as planned.

Health & Protection asked Aspen what the sale of five hospitals will mean for the business and its remaining pair of sites in Solihull and Leeds but had not heard back by time of publication.
