Mortgage and protection adviser and Apprentice star Raj Chohan has set her sights on becoming a lender for bridging finance.

Chohan (pictured) who was fired in the latest instalment of The Apprentice on Thursday, briefly spoke to Health & Protection about her plans having exited the process.

Up until last week, Chohan had been the only contestant not to have visited the losers’ café over the show’s nine week run. This included leading her team to victory in week four and proving to be the star seller in week two.

However, in week nine the contestants were set a TV sales task which saw Chohan take charge of her team as project manager, opposing a team led by Tre Lowe.

It was also a week in which serial loser Phil Turner move over to Chohan’s team which meant someone’s streak had to come to an end.

And following a very narrow defeat, it was Maura Rath and Chohan, who paid the price for their team’s failure and were shown the door despite this being Chohan’s first failure in this year’ series.

Attendees at Health & Protection’s first Protection Forum will be able to get the full story on Chohan’s future plans later this month.

But when asked about them in the wake of her Apprentice exit, Chohan, who runs Golden Key Financial Services with her husband told Health & Protection: “As of now we have two developments we are working on, back to mortgages and protection. I’m hoping to take a place as a lender for bridging finance.”
