PIB Group buys benefits division of Creative Benefit Solutions

PIB Group is adding the employee benefits division of Creative Benefit Solutions to its business.

The division and client book of business transferred into the PIB Employee Benefits brand from 1 December and is now trading under this name.

PIB said that the move would enhance its group risk and healthcare market share.

It added that since founding in 2007 Creative had built a strong reputation as specialists in auto-enrolment, workplace pensions, group risk and healthcare.

“Their employee benefits division comprises a talented team of consultants with a wealth of experience and expertise across all areas of employee benefits,” PIB said.

In addition to expanding its client book and expertise, PIB added the move will further strengthen an existing partnership with workplace pension provider Cushon which recently acquired Creative’s multi-employer workplace pension Creative Pension Trust.

PIB Employee Benefits managing director David Skinner said he was delighted to welcome Creative’s employee benefits division into the business along with the clients they were taking on.

“We look forward to continuing to build on the relationships established through our Creative colleagues, whilst working with them to provide further value and support through collaboration with the wider PIB Group,” he said.

“PIB has grown rapidly since 2015, but this growth is driven by a focus on sourcing and partnering with businesses that reflect the culture of our organisation, and which support the work we already do.

“Creative’s work in the employee benefits space is hugely complimentary to our work within PIB Employee Benefits, and we feel the team and their experience will be a great fit for our business.”
