Protection adviser Chohan tastes success for seventh time on The Apprentice

Week 7 of The Apprentice saw the contestants fly out to Hungary with the mission of selling a Budapest experience to tourists.

A further reshuffling of the teams saw protection adviser Raj Chohan separated from the only other three candidates to win all six tasks so far.

Chohan’s team, led by Maura Rath, opted to sell a wine tasting experience, while the opposing team, led by Rachel Woolford, went for a boat trip.

Charged with bringing in the sales, Chohan shone again – taking to the streets of Budapest with Rath to sell, sell, sell.

Rath’s lack of wine knowledge became evident as she swapped Flo Edwards out for herself on the initial stages of the wine tasting tour.  But Edwards’ final wine tasting masterclass went down well with tourists – as did the wine it seemed as Edwards and Chohan appeared to enjoy the pre tour wine tasting a little too much.

Tre Lowe’s sheer charisma shone through yet again for the opposing team but Foluso Falade’s decision to stay in the same position in the city too long ultimately cost her team the task, with Rath’s team winning the day.

While Chohan is the only candidate in this year’s competition to have never been to the boardroom showdown, old hand Virdi Singh Mazaria made it seven losses in a row.

And when brought back to the boardroom by Woolford along with Falade, it was Singh Mazaria who was sent packing.
