Rob Harvey has joined life insurance information service Protection Guru as a technical protection specialist.
Harvey, previously a specialist protection expert at protection specialist Drewberry, will support the business in its continued growth and in its ambition to be the ultimate technical resource for advisers and providers in the protection industry.
He will work alongside Adam Higgs, head of research at Protection Guru, helping to deliver Protection Guru’s research and analysis to advisers and providers, and drive product innovation and improvements. He will also work closely with insurers on their product offerings and services and engage with adviser firms to ensure they have the right tools and resources at their disposal to deliver the best protection advice possible to their clients.
Harvey spent nine years at protection specialists Drewberry, where he worked as an adviser, learning and development manager and recently, head of health and protection.
Commenting on his new role, Harvey said: “After nine successful years at Drewberry, in which time the business established itself as one of the UK’s leading protection specialists, I now look forward to helping Protection Guru take the next steps in its journey… Joining the business at this time feels like a really exciting opportunity….
