Quartet claim inaugural Santé Group charity golf day win

Santé Group launched its fundraising partnership with Heart Research UK with its first annual charity golf day.

The intermediary firm is aiming to raise £10,000 for the charity over the next 12 months and began with the event at Worsley Park Marriot Hotel & Country Club in Manchester.

Fifty golfers battled it out over the picturesque championship course with six official hole sponsors – including Health & Protection.

The quartet of Santé Life director Tony Ford, Oliver Mansfield, Santé Partners appointed representative Simon Allen and Max Westerman claimed the trophy with a winning score of 86

Runners-up with a score of 82 were Nugent Santé senior independent corporate and international accounts specialist David Booth, former Santé Group chairman Wayne Pontin, James Pontin and William Pontin.

Santé Group’s health insurance division Nugent Santé sponsors up-and-coming young golfer William Pontin.

Two individual titles were also up for grabs – Vitality account manager Peter Curtis-Brown had the longest drive on the 18th hole and Max Westerman was nearest the pin on the 7th hole.

The six sponsors were:
