Government is launching a call for evidence ahead of the launch of a men’s health strategy next year.
This is according to health and social care secretary, Wes Streeting (pictured), who was speaking at government’s first Men’s Health Summit at Arsenal Football Club’s Emirates Stadium earlier today.
“We’re launching our call for evidence,” Streeting said.
“All of you around the table have experience and insight to share with us, and we’re looking forward to kicking off that contribution today,” he continued.
“But we will also look forward to working with you and through you to the wide range of organisations and grass root groups and actually a really wide range of men and boys of all ages to make sure that when we do launch the men’s health strategy, that this feels like our strategy collectively and that everyone feels their fingerprints on it.”
