Reassured appoints chief people officer

Reassured has appointed Zoe Odusina as chief people officer.

The life insurance broker said her appointment formed part of its “corporate commitment to further exciting growth plans”.

Odusina (pictured), who has 30 years’ experience in the insurance industry, reports to chief executive officer Mark Townsend and joins the company’s senior leadership team.

Previously she was operations director at Compre, where she was responsible for leading all operational activities at a time of rapid growth across a wide range of functions, the firm said.

This included developing the business’s first HR and people strategy and establishing the company’s values. Prior to this, she served in a number of senior operational and commercial roles at RSA.

In her new role Odusina is responsible for the oversight and implementation of a number of important people-focused projects and initiatives, including its diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) strategy, the employee value proposition, employee benefits such as hybrid working policies, and the company’s wider contribution to charity and the community.

Townsend said: “We are delighted to welcome Zoe as our new chief people officer.

“Building a high-performance culture where our people are motivated, professionally fulfilled, and happy, is critical to supporting our ambitious growth plans and our future success.

“Zoe’s HR, leadership, and strategic expertise, coupled with her people-first approach aligns perfectly with our vision and will ensure that we execute on our plans.”

Odusina added she was delighted to have joined Reassured and was impressed by the importance the firm placed on its people.

“I am passionate about creating a culture that attracts and retains top talent and I believe that together we can continue building a workplace environment that drives excellent performance and results.

“I look forward to working closely with the senior leadership team and CEO.
