Reassured has secured a referrals agreement with Confused.com parent company RVU and will also power its online protection offerings.
The deal sees Reassured handling the life insurance websites for all three of RVU’s brands – Confused, Money and USwitch.
Through each customers can buy life with or without critical illness cover online from a panel of six insurers in the UK or over the phone via Reassured’s telephony support with or without advice.
The firms said fully integrated end-to-end data will allow RVU to see in near real time how customers are interacting with the life proposition, which will allow it to work with Reassured to improve the journey and maximise outcomes.
The life insurance broker told Health & Protection the deal was effective from 1 October.
Phil Jeynes, director of corporate strategy at Reassured, (pictured) said: “As the largest and among the longest-standing brokers in the market, we have a wealth of knowledge and expertise which we can share with partners to help them enhance their consumer outcomes.
“RVU has some household name brands which we’re excited to work with.
“Our shared aim is to increase the number of people taking protection cover and the smart use of our pooled data is the real key to growth.”
Mark Townsend, chief executive officer at Reassured, said: “The RVU brands are huge household names in our industry, and we are delighted that they have chosen Reassured to power its life insurance offering.
“Now, customers of Confused.com, Money.co.uk, and Uswitch can utilise our digital and offline expertise to get the life insurance cover they need.”
Steve Dukes, CEO of Confused.com, added: “Giving our customers the best experience is at the very core of what we do. And with this partnership, we’re able to utilise Reassured’s expertise alongside our own experience in the industry to help our customers get the right cover for their needs.”
