Santé Partners, part of the Santé Group, has acquired the assets of comparison website Healthplan.co.uk out of receivership for an undisclosed sum.
In a statement announcing the purchase,
Santé noted that late last year the company running the website fell into financial difficulties and went into administration.
The comparison website launched in 2020 and generates over 3,000 consumer and SME enquiries per month, equating to an average sales total of £800,000 per annum, it added.
Adam Sherring, managing director of Santé Partners, said: “Acquiring the Healthplan.co.uk website will help us accelerate our growth plans and provide our network of private medical insurance brokers with a rich pipeline of work.
“The addition of the Healthplan website enhances our service offering by putting us in a strong position to generate additional sales for our network.”
Paul Nugent, chief executive of Santé Group, (pictured) added: ” Sante Partners’ growth has exceeded our initial expectations, and the Healthplan website acquisition will add a significant income stream for the group and our broker network.

The Santé Group is made up of Santé Life, Nugent Santé and Santé Partners. It also comprises ArchAngel, a software platform designed to support brokerages with compliance and other business support services.
