Simplyhealth is creating two managing director roles to lead its Healthplan and Denplan businesses following chief customer officer (CCO) Claudia’s Nicholls-Magielsen’s departure.
Nicholls-Magielsen (pictured) left Simplyhealth at the end of last year after three years in the position and this week announced she would be joining Cancer Research as director of marketing, fundraising and engagement from March.
She joined Simplyhealth in November 2022 as chief customer officer and on LinkedIn described her time at the company as a “roller-coaster” of a ride, thanking the company’s board and executive committee for their support.
Following Nicholls-Magielsen’s exit, Simplyhealth said it would be introducing two new managing director roles to lead its Healthplan and Denplan businesses.
Simplyhealth revealed recruitment had begun for the roles, with the new hires joining the company’s executive committee with responsibility for spearheading its product-led ethos, bringing added focus to each business area to deliver its new strategy.
They will also be accountable for delivering profit and loss for the respective business units.
