The Exeter taps Royal London for strategy and change director

Protection and health insurer The Exeter has appointed Gordon Greig as strategy and change director.

Greig joins from Royal London where he was protection proposition director and will sit on The Exeter’s executive board and oversee its proposition and change teams.

He will be responsible for driving strategic planning, propositional design, projects, and change delivery, working in close collaboration with teams across the wider business.

At Royal London, Greig was responsible for introducing organisational agility to their intermediary division before taking on leadership of their protection business. Earlier in his career he held a variety of roles at the Prudential and Aegon.

Isobel Langton, CEO of The Exeter, (pictured) said she was delighted to welcome Greig to the insurer.

“Gordon’s experience and technical skill, as well as his commitment to always doing the right thing for the customer, will undoubtedly make him a valuable addition to our business,” she said.

Greig added: “I am excited to be joining The Exeter to help drive the business’s growth plans. I’m looking forward to collaborating with our teams and creating an environment in which they thrive, while ensuring the customer remains front and centre in everything we do.”
