The London Clinic has announced the launch of a 24/7 primary care service (private GP), as well as the introduction of a programme for new on-site GP services at its hospital located on Harley Street.
The services to patients are offered through new partnerships with Doctorcall, a provider of private patient home visiting services, and MyHealthcare Clinic a doctor-led private GP service with extensive experience of delivering high quality healthcare across the UK.
The service will also provide access to any subsequent diagnostic and treatment service to patients should it be required.
Private doctors will be available for both face-to-face or virtual appointments. Face-to-face appointments will be available for walk-ins or directly via the website. The initial service will be available from 2-6pm Monday to Friday.
Virtual appointments will be over telephone or by video. These will be available 24 hours a day, as will home visits within one hour of central London.
The London Clinic said the flexible range of private GP services empowers patients to choose how, where and when they have their consultation. Services are open to patients from Monday 8 January 2024.
Al Russell, CEO for The London Clinic, said: “At the London Clinic we believe it’s important for patients to have access to primary care at the point when they need it, delivered in a way that suits them best.

“We know that there are obstacles to accessing primary care in the current market, and we’re pleased to be able to go further to help meet that challenge by delivering personalised care to more patients across London, whether in person, on the phone or in their homes.”

“With this partnership, we’re not just offering round-the-clock medical care; we’re redefining the standards of private healthcare.
“Patients can now access quality medical assistance when they need it the most, whether it’s in the clinic, via telephone or video consultations, or through home visits.
“This marks the beginning of a new era in private healthcare services, where speed, accuracy, and patient-centric care are at the forefront. We are proud to be part of this collaboration and look forward to transforming the way patients experience healthcare in London.”
