In Bupa’s latest Workplace Health Insights event, our panel of experts discussed how organisations can engage hard to reach employees, in particular men who are less likely to seek support, with mental health initiatives.

During the session, our panel explored how businesses can work harder to dial up their engagement and how the power of prevention can reduce the impact and severity of mental health while boosting wellbeing, productivity, and performance.

Our panel

We were joined by Dr Robin Clark, Medical Director at Bupa, who opened the discussion by exploring the latest clinical insights shaping the workplace mental health landscape.

Ryan Hopkins, Future of Wellbeing Lead at Deloitte, shared his lived experience of mental health and discussed how organisations can create workplaces where individuals can be healthy, happy and productive.

Ruth Pott, Head of Workplace Wellbeing at BAM shared examples of how organisations can address mental health in a male dominated industry, including tackling subjects such as suicide and addiction.

Finally, Harriet Finlayson, Mental Health Team Nurse at Bupa discussed insights from the Bupa family mental health line and how employers can better support working parents and guardians.
