Taylor to replace Tozer as Allianz Partners UK & Ireland CEO

Allianz Partners UK and Ireland has appointed Lee Taylor as chief executive officer to replace current CEO Tim Tozer after four years at the helm.

Taylor (pictured), who is chief sales officer at present, will succeed Tozer on 1 October as he becomes non-executive chairman of the organisation, succeeding Mike Webb who is retiring.

Tozer began his career with Allianz Partners in the early 2000s as sales director and returned to the group in September 2018 as CEO.

The group added that during his tenure, Tozer had led the organisation through an IT transformation and assured a growth trajectory with the retention of key clients as well as two major contract wins.

As CEO, Taylor will report to Alexis Obligi, regional CEO for Western Europe, Latin America and MEA (Middle East and Africa).

Taylor joined the group in 2006 as head of warranty and service programmes and has held a number of management positions including regional sales officer for Northern Europe, UK sales director and his current role, CSO for UK and Ireland.

As CSO, the group added that he has been playing a significant role in diversifying and profitably growing the business across multiple lines such as home, travel and financial institutions.

Taylor said: “I am delighted to have this opportunity to lead the UK and Ireland business as CEO.

“My aspiration for the business is to continue the profitable growth established by Tim, while supporting our clients and consumers through some of the ongoing challenges facing our markets.

“Providing a stable environment for colleagues in these uncertain times will also be key in enabling them to deliver customer-centric services and peace of mind.”

The group added the recruitment process for the next sales director is currently underway.
