Employee benefits provider Vivup has acquired HR solutions platform Work&Life Partners.
The platform supports HR and diversity, equity and inclusion so that organisations can provide a platform to help employees navigate and manage their family caring needs – childcare, senior care or pet care.
While terms of the deal were not disclosed, Vivup told Health & Protection the acquisition completed on Friday 19 May and Work&Life Partners staff will transfer over to Vivup via TUPE (Transfer of Undertakings Protection of Employment) regulations and hold roles across the wider Vivup business.
This will include Work&Life Partners’ senior team who will take on key roles across Vivup, with details of these roles decided over an integration period.
Simon Moyle, CEO of Vivup, (pictured) said: “Lindsey Doe and her team at Work&Life Partners have built a brilliant platform and product.
“It allows organisations to assign a budget to their teams to ensure that if there are any unexpected childcare, senior care or pet care difficulties then support is available that allows the employee to be at work, knowing their care needs are being met. This works particularly well as employees are juggling many daily issues, not least teacher strikes and illness.
“The acquisition of Work&Life Partners enhances the Vivup proposition and is another step forward in our five-year strategy to deliver further value to our customers. It helps us bring important and innovative benefits to employers so they can support childcare, senior care and pet care needs within their teams.”
Lindsey Doe, CEO of Work&Life Partners, added: “We are joining the Vivup team at a time of great organisational change in the industry.
“Employees need more support than ever to transition to new work styles, whether full, flexi or part time. By supporting employees for any care complexities, employers will be ensuring their employees are supported so they can better focus, while also helping reduce organisational absenteeism and increase productivity.
“We are excited for the journey ahead”.
