Voyager Insurance Services joins AMII

Voyager Insurance Services has joined the Association of Medical Insurers and Intermediaries (AMII) as a corporate member.

The Guildford-based wholesale broker has been operating for 25 years offering specialist travel insurance and other leisure insurance products.

The trade body noted Voyager had developed a distribution platform for its product which aims to meet the gap in the corporate travel insurance market left by the withdrawal of Bupa.

AMII chairman David Middleton welcomed the firm as the body’s newest member.

“Bupa pulling out of the travel market provided an opportunity for another provider to work with our members and we are delighted that Voyager has joined us,” he said.

Voyager Insurance Services director John Peters (pictured) said the firm felt the time was right to join AMII.

“Our business is based on longstanding, strong relationships some of which we already have with AMII members,” he said.

“Voyager Insurance is proud to be an AMII member as we share common values in working hard to ensure our partners have the dynamic solutions they need to service their commercial clients.

“We are already seeing a return to corporate travel, and travel insurance for those customers is really important. There is a duty of care for companies to provide their staff with the necessary protection that reflects today’s risks.”
