WBN appoints directors for data and technology and global engagement and benefits

The Worldwide Broker Network (WBN) has appointed Steven Woods as global director of data, technology and security and promoted Liz Yovich to director of global engagement and employee benefits, effective immediately.

Woods will be responsible for the strategy and execution of WBN’s technology solutions to best meet the needs of the network’s global and diverse members, clients and staff.

His appointment will take effect immediately and he will report to Olga Collins, CEO of WBN

Woods has held a range of IT leadership positions where he provided consultation and solutions for areas spanning cybersecurity, infrastructure, risk management and capital expenditure reductions.

Meanwhile Liz Yovich, has been promoted to director of global engagement and employee benefits. Yovich joined WBN as member relations manager in 2021, from member firm IMA Global Risk & Benefits.

The organisation said she has been instrumental in delivering continual support and growth for the network, including the addition of 19 new members.

In her new role, Yovich will be responsible for driving the expansion of the WBN employee benefits practice, to include strategy and execution resources, and supporting the team on business development initiatives.

Yovich also participated in the Health & Protection IPMI Roundtable in New York last year.
