WPA increases member discounts

Not for profit health insurer WPA has increased its number of member discounts.

The list of businesses working to support WPA customers include gyms, fitness device providers, health screening/health check companies and providers of nutritious meals to the customers’ home.

The list of discounts include a third off Hussle gyms, 25% off Fiit memberships, 20% discount at selected Nuffield Fitness & Wellbeing gyms, up to 25% off Garmin fitness devices, 10% off Apex Rides, up to 12% off Bluecrest health checks, 10% off a range of Check4Cancer screening services, discounts on health screening and assessments, Specsavers discounts, 20% off Allen Carr’s Easyway seminars, 65% of their first Gousto healthy food recipe box and 30% off all other boxes ordered in the first month and 10% off SpaBreaks.com experiences.

WPA added it is also in discussion with several other firms to further extend their member offer programme.

WPA’s member offers are accessible via the secure web customer portal (My WPA) and are available to all retail, SME and large corporate and healthcare trust customers.

Sharon Shier, head of product development at WPA, said: “Every single WPA member offer is relevant to health making it easy for customers to be healthier.

“WPA don’t just want to be in touch with our members at renewal, we want to enhance their understanding of their health and help them reducing the likelihood of being ill”.

Jack Matthews, e-commerce specialist at Garmin, added: “We are pleased to be working with WPA offering their members access to our wearable technology amongst the other great products we produce which will no doubt help them live happy and healthier lives.”
