LV= has hired Anita Fernqvist as chief transformation and technology officer from Zurich UK after two decades at the insurer, subject to regulatory approval.
Fernqvist (pictured) was most recently UK chief operating officer (COO) at Zurich UK having held the role for two-and-a-half years.
Prior to that she was UK chief data officer and operationd director and had been on the insurer’s independent governance committee.
In her new role, she will join the LV= executive team and lead it’s business change, technology services, data and operational resilience functions.
LV= said Fernquist brought extensive expertise in technology, data and large-scale transformation and would be working closely with colleagues across the business to drive modernisation and future focused innovation.
Meanwhile, Chloe Stuttard will take on the role of chief customer officer.
She is already part of LV’s senior leadership and will join the executive team and lead customer and adviser experience and governance.
