Mental healthcare provider the Priory Group has joined forces with ADDVantage Technologies to offer online therapy to those struggling with common mental health conditions.
The partnership enables patients over 18+ to access Priory experts including psychologists, psychiatrists or psychotherapists via their mobile or tablet device, and talk to them face-to-face via video link at their convenience.
The service offers a broad range of therapies, centred on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), for mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, stress and bereavement.
Commenting on the new partnership. Joe McEvoy, director of innovation and digital at the Priory Group, revealed there has been a surge of people turning to online therapy, worried about their mental and physical health, finances, and concerned about returning to the office during the pandemic.
