Bupa Global has revealed a redesigned concierge-based offering for high net worth customers as part of a new “ultra-premium lifecare” product category.

Private Client by Bupa takes a holistic approach to all things health, focusing on prevention as well as treatment with no overall annual limit and global cover included on the ultimate health plan, the insurer said.

Dedicated lifecare concierge managers are appointed to handle all aspects of customers’ individual or family health plan.

They will have an in-depth understanding of the customer’s lifestyles, medical conditions and provider preferences and will manage appointments and claims anywhere in the world.

The proposition also combines direct access to private medical specialists and popular wellbeing therapies, such as vitamin therapy and cryotherapy.

Customers can also share their health screening results with Bupa Global’s senior clinical experts to manage potential conditions and establish treatment plans that fit with their lifestyles.

Private Client by Bupa will be introduced to the UK, in China in partnership with the Alltrust Insurance Company, and to Hong Kong-based customers this month, with further roll-outs across more products in September.

Sheldon Kenton, managing director of Bupa Global, said the company was aiming to be a wellness partner for customers – bringing them not just healthcare but lifecare.

He added the new offering created a new category within the sector, meeting customer demand for personal guidance and expertise in holistic wellbeing.
